Day one stays in the southern half of Ilocos Norte with Paoay Church, the sand dunes and Malacañang of the North before an overnight near Laoag. Day two is the long coastal payoff: Cape Bojeador, Kapurpurawan, Bangui Windmills, Saud Beach and finally Patapat Viaduct. Splitting the province into two days makes the famous north-coast route much more enjoyable.
